Since MOZ updated their API limits last week, I’m unable to keep running the tools to check your Page and Domain authority. If you like to keep using this service in the future please Like and Retweet this tweet to help me a convince MOZ to keep this service free.
Hi @MOZ would love to keep providing the @SEOReviewTools #DomainAuthority checker for free, but with the new API limits this is no longer possible… Can you help me out? Thanks! pic.twitter.com/gF541Nf0GL

As a temporary solution you can use the Website Authority checker or the bulk Domain Rating checker
Bulk Moz Domain Authority & Page Authority checker.
March 5, 2019 update: The Bulk Domain Authority & Page Authority Checker is now running on the new MOZ Domain Authority 2.0 score algorithm.
Use the Bulk Moz DA & PA checker to determine the strength of specific pages and the likelihood for a domain to rank well in search engine results.
UPDATE:
Since MOZ recently did a mayor update to their backlink index you can expect to see some changes when it comes to the Domain Authority and Page Authority scores this tool returns. The most important reasons for these changes are:
- A new backlink index, which is 5 times larger.
- This new index is about 30 times fresher and will be updated more frequently.
- An update to the core algorithm responsible for calculating the Domain and Page Authority scores for your website.
The Moz Authority tool returns:
- Page Authority, represents the authority of a specific page / URL on a 1 to 100 scale.
- Domain Authority, represents the authority of the domain on a 1 to 100 scale.
- MozRank, representing the global link popularity on a 1 to 10 scale.
- Links total, representing the total number of links to a page.
- External and Internal Links
- Dofollow and nofollow links
Use the Moz Authority bulk tool to check the above metrics for multiple URLs. After performing an authority check you can hit the Excel icon to export the results to .CSV. Checkout the Domain Authority for multiple URLs from a single domain or compare / benchmark multiple URLs from different domains.
Domain Authority comparison
How to use this tool to perform a SEO competitor analysis? Step 1. Enter a search query into Google, using a relevant keyword(phrase) you’d like to rank for. Step 2. Retrieve the 10 results / URLs from the first results page. Step 3. Enter these URLs and perform a Domain Authority comparisson. This tool will automatically highlight the highest Domain Authority & Page Authority in blue. Step 4. Use these results to make an educated guess ;-) How does your website compare to the competitors based on DA and PA. Repeat this process for all the interesting keywords and key phrases related to your website.
Tool Suggestions:
- Valuable Backlink Tool – Find opportunities to improve your online Authority.
- SEO Keyword suggestion Tool – Discover relevant keywords to search for.
The Moz Authority checker uses the Mozscape / Moz API to get the authority and link data.
Connection times out every time I try using the tool. Is it broken?
Hi Juredujmovic,
This was probably caused by a temporary problem. Tool works pretty good right now, so please give it another try.
March 5, 2019 update
From Last 2 week, your website showing the wrong data about DA and PA. I checked almost 10 times and every time compares with “moz ose” tool. And everytime your data showing wrong thing.
Your tool is really nice. But from last 2 3 weeks, It is disappointing me each time. Please update tool as soon as possible.
Hi Karan,
My tools are running on the NEW updated MOZ data-set, this means the new Domain and Page authority scores are correct.
Your comparing this data to the OLD MOZ Open Site explorer data, which is outdated..
Hope this helps!
Kindly update Moz API as Moz released DA 2.0 now!
Hi Rohit, this tool is already running on the MOZ Domain Authority 2.0 algorithm.
Thanks for the notification!
Cheers, Jasja
Hi Guys,
I noticed that this tool is showing not the current DA. I am not sure if you know that MOZ updated their algorithm.
Hi Terrence,
Thanks for the feedback! This is indeed pretty confusing right now.
(The reason for this: Moz made some changes to how some metrics are calculated and they use a 25x larger / 30x fresher index)
So I hope this explains the situation ;-)
Hi Terrence,
This tool is now also running on the new MOZ backlink index. This means you will probably an updated DA and PA score for your domain.
Update:
This is the best tool available online, to check Domain page authority and Domain authority.
Hi Jasja,
Fantastic tool. I have a domain that is around 11 months old and it only shows domain and page authority as 1… Is this a result of the domains lifespan?
Thank you,
Anthony
Hi Anthony,
Thanks, the MOZ API returns a number 1 PA en DA by default. So this means your domain has a very low overall authority.
This a great tool to review my Domain Authority.
Thanks,
Ben
Hi thanks Ben,
I’ll probably expand the number of input URLs to a 100 instead of the current 10 (maximum input limit)..
Cheers, Jasja ter Horst
Hi! When do you think you might expand that limit? I could really use it. I have a list of 1,000 links to check lol, gets hard on the hands, :-) then next month I’ll have another list of at least 1,000 urls to check.
Matt
Hi Matt,
I’m currently working on expanding the number of queries.. to make this possible I need to do redo the core of this tool and I need to X100 the number of MOZ API credits I’m currently using.
The technical stuff is not the problem, but I need funding to get more MOZ API credits.
I saw you already made a donation! Thanks for the support!! This will help me to on my way to get the $500 / month I need to run the full MOZ API.
